Services

Nationwide ITAD services with certified data destruction.

Secure Erase is a NAID AAA-certified ITAD company providing nationwide data destruction, secure logistics, serialized inventory, data sanitization, value recovery, and responsible final disposition.

Ship approved IT equipment from anywhere in the United States.

Contact our team before shipping equipment to confirm project eligibility and receiving details. Once approved equipment reaches our Boise facility, each asset is inventoried and processed under a controlled workflow, with a Certificate of Destruction issued per work order.

01 / The obligation

Removing equipment is not as simple as throwing it away.

Your organization is responsible for disposing of equipment in an environmentally sound way while ensuring that private and confidential data has been permanently removed. We combine secure logistics, detailed inventory, verified sanitization, and final disposition into one documented process.

02 / The response

Security and disposition under one roof.

Our certified data destruction service supports nationwide ITAD projects requiring secure shipping, removal, and retirement. Our tested and proven processes reduce data security risk while giving your organization a fully auditable record.

03 / One accountable process

From your loading dock to a documented outcome.

  1. 01

    Secure Pickup & Shipping

Coordinated collection, secure transportation, and chain-of-custody documentation from your location to our facility.

  2. 02

    Inventory & Asset Tracking

Serial numbers, asset tags, manufacturer, model, configuration, and important notes are captured for every incoming item.

  3. 03

    Data Sanitization & Destruction

The strongest supported NIST 800-88-aligned method is applied and verified. Drives that fail are physically destroyed.

  4. 04

    Certification & Final Disposition

Receive serialized certification and a clear record of equipment that was remarketed, donated, recycled, or destroyed.

04 / Project scope

What equipment and projects can SecureErase handle?

We support business, healthcare, manufacturing, education, nonprofit, and enterprise IT teams retiring data-bearing technology. A project may include a small group of drives, a facility refresh, end-of-lease equipment, or a multi-location retirement. Final scope depends on equipment type, condition, location, timing, handling requirements, and the documentation your organization needs. Share a rough inventory when you request a quote; our team will confirm eligibility and the most appropriate logistics before equipment moves.

  • Laptops, desktops, workstations, thin clients, and small-form-factor computers
  • Servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and related enterprise hardware
  • Hard disk drives, solid-state drives, NVMe media, and other supported data-bearing devices
  • Monitors, peripherals, and related IT equipment when included in an approved project
  • End-of-lease and decommissioned assets requiring condition, configuration, and serial-level reporting

05 / Secure logistics

Choose regional pickup or nationwide shipping.

Both paths begin with a project review. We confirm what is moving, where custody begins, how the equipment should be prepared, and which records your team needs before anything is collected or shipped.

Regional service

Regional pickup in Idaho, Utah, Washington, and Oregon

Regional pickup is available for approved projects in Idaho, Utah, Washington, and Oregon. We confirm the pickup address, equipment count, access requirements, loading conditions, requested timing, and the SecureErase service area responsible for the collection. Custody is documented as equipment is received and associated with your work order. Pickup availability, minimums, lead time, and transportation requirements vary by project, so a quote request is the fastest way to confirm the right plan.

  1. 01

    Share the inventory

Provide device types, an approximate count, location, timing, and any access or security constraints.

  2. 02

    Confirm logistics

We confirm project eligibility, pickup requirements, chain-of-custody expectations, and the planned handoff.

  3. 03

    Collect and receive

Approved equipment is collected and entered into the controlled SecureErase intake process.

United States

Nationwide shipping by project arrangement

Organizations outside the regional pickup area can arrange shipment to our Boise facility. Do not send equipment before receiving project instructions. We first confirm accepted equipment, quantities, packing or pallet requirements, carrier or freight coordination, labeling, custody documentation, and the receiving window. Damaged, unusually heavy, hazardous, or specialized equipment may require a different plan. Once received, shipped assets follow the same inventory, processing, verification, and reporting workflow as regional pickup projects.

  1. 01

    Request shipping intake

Choose nationwide shipping on the quote form and describe the equipment, origin, count, and target timeline.

  2. 02

    Receive instructions

SecureErase confirms acceptance, packaging, labeling, freight coordination, and the custody handoff for the project.

  3. 03

    Ship after approval

Send the equipment only after the project and receiving details have been confirmed in writing.

06 / Closeout

What documentation does a customer receive?

Project deliverables are matched to the approved scope. They can include serialized asset and drive records, sanitization or destruction results, exception reporting, a certificate of sanitization or destruction, final disposition details, project summaries, and settlement information for recovered value. The quote stage is also where your team can identify required fields, retention expectations, internal asset references, or other closeout requirements so the reporting format is agreed before processing begins.

Review the documented workflow and sample certificate
  • Serialized inventory tied to the customer work order
  • Verified sanitization or physical-destruction outcome for data-bearing media
  • Certificate and project-summary documentation based on the approved scope
  • Disposition records for remarketed, donated, recycled, or destroyed equipment
  • Itemized settlement information when equipment produces recoverable value

07 / Scheduling

Timing is confirmed before the project starts

Pickup or shipping coordination, intake, processing, exception handling, and reporting time depend on project size and equipment mix. We respond to quote requests within 1–2 business days and provide a project-specific schedule after reviewing the inventory and logistics. If a lease return, facility closure, audit, or other deadline controls the work, include that date in the request so feasibility can be evaluated early.

08 / Project economics

Pricing reflects logistics, labor, risk, and remaining value

There is no reliable one-price-fits-all estimate for ITAD. Transportation, access, equipment type, data-bearing media, sanitization or destruction requirements, reporting detail, timing, and resale condition all affect the project. Viable equipment may offset service costs or produce a settlement, while equipment without recoverable value may require recycling or destruction fees. A rough inventory is enough to begin a no-obligation review.
